What Does Deep Cleaning Cover?

A deep clean goes past the surfaces you touch every day. It gets into the spots regular cleaning skips, inside cupboards, behind appliances, grout lines, and skirting boards. It's the reset a home needs every few months, or before a big life change. What's different? Think about your kitchen. A regular clean wipes the counters and does the sink. A deep clean goes inside the oven, behind the hob, and scrubs the kitchen hood where grease builds up without you even noticing. We move furniture instead of cleaning around it. We pull cupboards open and clean inside, not just the doors. We do tile and grout scrubbing, mirrors, blinds, and every surface sanitised properly, not just wiped over.

Although we serve customers across most East and North London boroughs, our core service area is Tottenham and the surrounding communities, including Seven Sisters, Wood Green, Walthamstow, Chingford, Leyton, Leytonstone, Stratford, Hackney, Ilford,, and Highbury & Islington.

That said, wherever you are in any of these listed London boroughs, we're ready to help.

Signs Your Home Is Ready for a Deep Clean

How do you know it's time? Most people wait too long. By the time someone calls us about a deep clean, they've been staring at the same grubby cooker hood for weeks, telling themselves they'll get to it.

  • You can't remember the last time anyone properly scrubbed inside the fridge or oven

  • There's a greasy film on kitchen cupboards you can feel when you run a hand along them

  • Bathroom grout has gone grey or black no matter how much you scrub the surface

  • You've just moved into a flat in Tottenham and the last tenant clearly didn't bother

  • Skirting boards and window blinds are thick with dust you only notice in direct sunlight

  • You're hosting family soon and regular hoovering isn't going to cut it

  • A regular clean keeps getting skipped or rushed and things have quietly piled up

Here's the honest bit. If you vacuum weekly, wipe surfaces, and keep on top of the bathroom, a regular clean will do the job fine and cost you less. Deep cleaning is for the stuff regular cleaning skips over: inside cupboards, tile and grout, kitchen hoods, behind and under furniture, the corners nobody reaches with a normal hoover.

We see this every week with older conversions around Tottenham and Seven Sisters. Tight kitchens often have built up grease on extractor fans that a quick wipe never touches. If that sounds familiar, you're not being lazy, you just need the deeper clean.

When a Standard Clean Is Enough

Not every home needs a deep clean. We'll say that straight out. If you've had someone in every fortnight, your skirting boards are dust-free, and the oven hasn't seen a proper roast dinner disaster lately, regular cleaning probably covers you. Deep cleaning is for the build-up that regular visits don't reach.

How do you know which one you need? Ask yourself when the last proper clean happened. Not a quick tidy before guests came round, an actual top to bottom clean.

  • You've had regular cleaning within the last month or two and nothing's slipped

  • Your kitchen appliances get wiped down often, not just once in a while

  • There's no grease film building up round the hob or extractor

  • Bathrooms get scrubbed weekly, so lime-scale and grout haven't taken hold

  • You're not moving out, and there's no big life event forcing a reset

If most of that sounds like your home, book a regular clean instead. It's more affordable, it keeps things ticking over, and it stops you ever needing the deep clean in the first place.

Here's the flip side, and it's common. A flat in a converted Edwardian house in Tottenham with old sash windows collects dust fast. Draughts pull it in constantly. If that's you, a monthly regular clean won't touch what's built up in the frames and corners. That's a deep clean job, plain and simple.

A thorough clean to help you leave your Tottenham property in its best possible condition.

Deep Cleaning Frequently Asked Questions

We've compiled a list of questions some of our clients may have regarding their dep cleaning service, please feel free to contact us if any of your questions aren't answered here.

1. How many cleaners will you send?

It depends on the size of the property. But as a rule of thumb, we aim to get our deep cleaning service completed within 4-6 hours. We assign multiple cleaners if we estimate that the job may take more than this duration for a single cleaner to complete. There is no additional cost to you for this service.

2. Do you offer any cleaning quality guarantee?

We offer a 24 hours cleaning quality guarantee. In a rare occassion that you're not satisfied with the quality of our service, we'll come back at a convenient time for you and re-clean for free of charge.

3. What are your prices?

We offer flexible hourly deep cleaning from £80 per clean (£20 per hour), or fixed-price whole-property deep cleans starting from £140 for a studio flat and up to £940 for a six-bedroom, five-bathroom house.

4. Do you bring your own cleaning equipment and products?

An additional fee of £50 applies if we are required to supply cleaning products (e.g., cloths, cleaning solutions) and equipment (e.g., vacuum, mop, bucket) for the service. This fee covers the logistical costs associated with transporting and supplying the necessary materials for the service.

5. When do I need to pay?

We require the full amount to be paid upon booking here on our website.

6. Do I need to be there for the clean?

No. As long as you provide us with property access information in your absence, there’s no need for you to be there during the clean. However, we recommend that you be there at the end of the cleaning, where possible, in order to inspect the quality of the service before our cleaners leave. This will be time-saving for both parties in a very rare occasion that anything gets flagged up that require re-cleaning.

7. What if my property is in a derelict condition?

Additional charges may apply if the property is found to be in a significantly neglected or heavily soiled condition requiring additional cleaning time and effort.

8. How do I know if my home is ready for a deep clean instead of a regular one?

Ask yourself when the last proper top to bottom clean happened, not just a quick tidy before guests arrived. If grout has gone grey, cupboards feel greasy to the touch, or skirting boards are thick with dust in sunlight, you're overdue. If you've had regular cleaning recently and nothing's slipped, a standard clean will likely still cover you.

10. Do you offer same-day or emergency cleaning?

Yes, you may book up to 2 hours in advance. There's a limited same-day availability, so you must book before 4pm to secure your spot, subject to availability. Please check our schedule online.

10. What is your cancellation policy?

Please sign-up/ login to your account at least 1 hour in advance to your booking, should you need to cancel or reschedule your cleaning service. For anything else, please contact us ASAP.

11. What is your refund policy?

In a very unlikely situation where we are unable to fulfil your booking. We will offer you a full refund if you opt for this rather than a reschedule. Please allow up to 3-5 working days for refund payment to clear.
