Terms of service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the agreement between Marvel Bespoke Services (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the client (“you”, “your”) for the provision of cleaning services. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

1. Services Provided

1.1 We offer a range of residential and commercial cleaning services, including regular cleaning, deep cleaning, and one-off cleans.

1.2 A clear description of what is included in each service is provided at the time of booking.

1.3 Services excluded from our standard offering (e.g., hazardous cleaning, heavy lifting, exterior window cleaning above ground floor) will be communicated in advance.

 

2. Pricing and Payment

2.1 Our cleaning services start from £20 per hour, with a minimum booking of 2 hours.

2.2 Prices may vary depending on the size of the property, type of cleaning required, and frequency of bookings.

2.3 Payment is due in advance as a one-off payment or via ongoing subscription plan as agreed at the time of booking.

2.4 Accepted payment methods: card payment.

 

3. Booking, Rescheduling, and Cancellations

3.1 Bookings can be made via our website

3.2 To reschedule or cancel, you must give at least 2 hours’ notice from time of booking.

3.3 Cancellations with less than the required notice will incur a charge of up to 100% of the booking fee.

3.4 If we are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, we will inform you promptly and arrange an alternative date at no additional cost.

 

4. Client Responsibilities

4.1 You must provide access to the property at the agreed time. If access is not available, the booking will be charged in full.

4.2 Utilities such as water and electricity must be available for the cleaner to carry out their duties.

4.3 You must inform us of any fragile items, special instructions, or restricted areas within the property.

4.4 The property must be safe for work. We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe or unsanitary.

 

5. Cleaner Responsibilities

5.1 Our cleaners are carefully vetted and selected based on experience and reliability.

5.2 Cleaners will carry out services professionally, respectfully, and with care for your property.

5.3 Cleaners will not perform tasks outside the agreed service (e.g., heavy lifting, structural repairs).

 

6. Liability and Insurance

6.1 We hold a public liability insurance policy to cover accidental damage caused by our cleaners.

6.2 We are not liable for:

Pre-existing damage to property or belongings.

Damage caused by faulty equipment or products supplied by you.

Any indirect or consequential losses.

6.3 Any claims for damage must be reported in writing within 24 hours of the service.

 

7. Health and Safety

7.1 We only use cleaning products and equipment deemed safe for domestic and commercial use.

7.2 Cleaners will not use bleach or other hazardous chemicals unless specifically agreed.

7.3 Tasks requiring work at height, moving heavy furniture, or handling biohazards are excluded.

 

8. Termination of Service

8.1 Either party may terminate ongoing services with 2 hours of notice.

8.2 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services immediately if:

Unsafe working conditions are present.

Cleaners are subjected to abuse, harassment, or unsafe behaviour.

 

9. Confidentiality and Data Protection

9.1 All personal information provided by you is kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of providing cleaning services.

9.2 We comply with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

9.3 We will not share your details with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

 

10. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

10.1 If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us within 24 hours of the clean. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue promptly.

10.2 In the event of an unresolved dispute, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.

 

11. Governing Law

 

11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

11.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

 

12. Agreement

 

By booking or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
